AYA TAJIMI

Founder, Director

Aya Tajimi began classic ballet training when she was four in Tokyo, Japan. She studied and trained of the Vaganova ballet method under Mrs. Hiroko Murakami (Ushioda) of Tani Momoko Ballet Company in Tokyo, Japan. She also studied under Ms. Makiko (Ishii) Suzuki of Tokyo City Ballet Company in Tokyo, Japan. She joined to NBA (Nihon Ballet Academy) Ballet Company in Saitama, Japan. She performed at not only NBA Ballet Company but also local ballet companies and studios, and danced many lead roles. She has experienced to teach classic ballet to three years-old through adult in Japan, and started to teach to kids since May 2017 in Eastchester, NY as well. 

Belonged to Scarsdale Ballet Studio as main ballet teacher since 2018.

She is also working as accountant in U.S. since 2011.

Aya Tajimi is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
